Today, ASHA remains a trusted source of reliable information not only on STls, but overall sexual health as well.

CDC is the nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health. CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. CDC’s Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP) confronts the root causes of STIs by improving care and treatment access for the nation’s most disproportionately affected persons. DSTDP engages community, state, and national leaders and partners to serve the public and groups at higher risk of STIs and illness.

NCSD is a national public health membership organization representing health department STD directors, their support staff, and community-based partners across 50 states, seven large cities, and five US territories. Providing leadership to support and advance STD prevention and control programs, NCSD advocates for effective policies, strategies, and sufficient resources for STD programs and endeavors to increase public awareness of the health and social impact of STDs.
